Reiki

Reiki is considered one of the many “healing arts”. Your body has a natural ability to heal and restore itself when it’s fully aligned. Through the practice of Reiki and Energy Healing, we work with your body to help naturally heal, process and restore itself.

  • Reiki, as we know it in the US, has been in practice for the last two centuries.

Rei means Universal Life and Ki means Energy. It’s something we all possess inside of us.

Reiki is the art of moving and shifting that energy. Clearing and Unblocking stuck energy.

  • Reiki helps with emotional balance, reduction of stress, and promotes deep relaxation. Reiki helps improve your overall well-being and helps you cope with difficulties.

Reiki in our studio is more than just clearing chakras. I’ll explain more about what a session looks like and what to expect.

  • A Reiki session starts out with us just talking. I like to get to know where you’re at and what you’re experiencing in your life currently. What brought you in to seek treatment? That gives me an idea of what chakras we would need to give extra time to during the session.

After you’re comfortable on the massage table, I will place an eye pillow on you to help your Vagus nerve relax and calm your nervous system.

I then will use a pendulum and check your chakras to see if there are any blockages or if they are over or underactive.

Your session is really a time for you to relax… I will do Reiki hand movements over your body and ground you by holding your ankles at the very end.

After you are ready to sit up we will sit and talk about what I experienced during your session and any notable experiences you had. We will then create a plan and go over ways you can help with any chakras that need special attention and best practices going forawrd.

Reiki therapy means channeling universal life force energy through the reiki practitioner’s hands to the client to help bring balance to body, mind and spirit. It helps bring peace, wellbeing, and relief from physical, spiritual and emotional distress.
